With the announcement of Andrew McGregor about Sublinear.info I have started to list several aggregators / reference pages on highly technical subjects, they are here. If you know of others, please do let me know in the comment section. Right now we have:
- List of Open Problems in Sublinear Algorithms
- Superlinear Indexes
- Count-Min Sketches and Applications:
- Compressive Sensing: The Big Picture
- Advanced Matrix Factorization Jungle
- The sparse- and low-rank solver wiki:
- The LASSO page
- Recommender Systems: wiki:
The underlying idea is that wikipedia while being a very worthwhile repository, cannot sometimes be updated as fast as certain highly technical fields. The pages are generally curated by specialists. Eventually, any of the consensus that comes out of these pages ought to be in wikipedia after a while.
