Hartley 2. Wow.

As the last Shuttle launch is postponed for a month, a robotic mission (EPOXI) was doing the job of inimaginable wonder by taking a closeby photo a Hartley.2. Just wow.

If you recall EPOXI back two years ago, it took the shot in this entry: If you are looking at the Moon from this point of view, you are in a lot of trouble!

Ed Weiler the head of AA for the Science Mission Directorate at NASA, is amazed not just by the beautiful results but because the program: "somehow [it] survived peer review."
