CS: l_p IRLS codes and the International Conference on Computational Photography ( ICPP10 ) webcast

Angshul Majumdar sent the following:
Hi Igor

A couple of Matlab files for solving lp analysis and synthesis prior algorithms. Both are first order algorithms unlike the IRLS. To a large extent they are based on the Majorization-Minimization approach, which I learnt from the Selesnick and Figueredo's paper.

The two codes are here:

Thanks Angshul !

Ramesh tweeted that I should point to the International Conference on Computational Photography (ICCP10) webcast. I did but in case the last entry was too long here it is:

The program for the second day shows some interesting talks. The program starts at 9:15 AM Boston time (EST). To convert to your time zone.

While you are waiting for the video feed to come up you may want to read Ramesh's presentation on How to come up with new Ideas

I like his style, he is not talking about compressed sensing directly but one day he'll come on our side of the Force :)
