I have set up an Amazon store that features a list of different subjects that have been covered in some shape or another on Nuit Blanche. For the books, the items in these categories are reference documents in support of these subject areas. They also include other type of products but they can all in one shape or another be connected back to some of the content mentioned here. If you want to support the blog, please consider making purchases through the Nuit Blanche Reference store. Here is the current category list and look forward to expand it:
- Compressed Sensing
- Nuclear Engineering
- Space Engineering
- Particle Transport Theory
- Medical Physics
- Computational Photography
- Radiation Detection
- Statistics and Algorithms
- E-Readers
- Hardware Tinkering
- Software
- Providing Context
- I contributed to these
For instance, the Hardware Tinkering section include the upcoming Nikon Coolpix S1100pj 14 MP Digital Camera,
or the Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W3 Digital Camera, an Arduino Mega Starter Kit, netbooks and so on.

It looks like your Hardware Tinkering section is missing references to the RepRap, now, THAT'S tinkering!
I agree. The only thing I found in Amazon on Rerap is this:

Not much. Maybe I should try to find an electronics store of some kind.
Cheers,
Igor.
The Nikon camera having a projector built-in makes it possible to project on the object various pseudo-random matrix masks, for 3d reconstruction, dual-photography or various CS uses.
Does the software allow to use the projector at the same time as the main camera module ? Some hacking might be needed to open these cool possibilities...
Those are very good questions indeed :-)
Igor.
