Instead of relying on your average newspaper and their staff to provide a dumbed down version of the latest on the ash cloud covering Europe, here is some news from the horse's mouth. The current two centers in charge of providing warnings for the ash cloud are the London and the Toulouse Volcanic Ash Advisory Centers. Since the ash cloud started in the London area, the Toulouse advisories seem to rely on the London assessment. The London advisories are here. I don't know why they are telling travelers to wait until tomorrow for some news. unless they have some evading maneuvers above 35,000 feet (FL350). Madrid and its adequately named airport (MAD) seems unscathed.
