Strobing high resolution camera with picosecond time resolution

For those of you wondering about the work of Andreas Velten and Ramesh Raskar, yes there is a compressive sensing aspect to this as the path taken by light can be decomposed in a series of smaller paths between bounces. The final measurement is a linear combination of the different times it took light to bounce from one object to the other.  Reconstruction of that signal should yield the physical scene lit by the picosecond laser.
