NASA had its own 7 minutes of terror two years ago with the landing of Curiosity on Mars, ESA now has its own 28 minutes of terror today with the landing of Philae on Comet 67P. According to the timeline, the separation motors of Rosetta's lander Philae will ignite in 20 seconds. Then in 7 hours and fifteen minutes later, Philae will land on comet 67P.
