Simply Knowing Yourself

While reading this paper on the current illusion set forth by "better" classifiers, I could not help but remember Sebastian Thrun's presentation on winning DARPA first Grand Challenge.



While classifying is one thing, maybe quantifying one's state of knowledge or your state of ignorance might be more relevant.
