Sometimes, it's always nice to get a context on certain things that happened in the past. Here are three biographies that I have read recently and which fits that bill.
- Kenneth Case, known for his singular eigenfunction work
- Charles W. Johnson, the person behind IMSL
- Leo Breiman, of the Random Forest fame.
